Let us feel proud in proclaiming ourselves as Indians

When a person goes in a foreign country, what is the first & the most prominent & important thing that he carries with him: PASSPORT of his native motherland. The land where he belongs to. Nobody really cares about the social status, financial backing or any political affiliation whatsoever.

But people or the CITIZENS don't feel proud when they in proclaiming their nationality in public. It's not about the religion or social caste or anything else, but promulgating the sole purpose of existence & a showing a feeling of gratitude towards the motherland. As people say that India is a land of infinite  variations, I came across a person who felt otherwise in making such public proclamations. I was left thinking the reason for such a weird behaviour of his, was it the Language, was it that it sounded as if it belonged to a particular religion or something else. I am wondering that how can a person , a citizen , a son of motherland can feel ashamed in saying so or give some senseless reasons for such behaviour.

I think that the answer lies somewhere else, I think the whole fault lies in the grooming & the bringing up & the exposure to the environment where people are not made to feel their respect & experience that they are the esteemed citizens of MotherIndia. Let's take a vow to educate such INTELLECTUALS in order to make a more PATRIOTIC & COHESIVE society. But, would that be a sufficient solution to the problem that our nation is facing these days: non-patriots or patriots lacking the commitment. We need to ACT, YES! We CAN...
